Hello Parents,

As you may know, the weather hasn't cooperated with us lately, and as of Friday, the pool temperature was a frigid 66 degrees.  But due to John Martin's determination and sacrifices of time, energy (and sadly his truck tailgate), we were able to borrow the solar pool covers from Steiner Ranch HOA and raise the temp of the pool by 10 degrees in 2 days!!

That makes the pool temp 76 degrees, which is still on the cool side, but practice will be on as planned.  Please be sure to bring an extra towel and something warm for your kids to get into as quickly as possible.  Definitely plan on having them wear a swim cap, which will hold the heat in their heads.  If the kids can't get or stay warm, Coach Scott will pull them out and do dry land exercises.

They will also talk about some swimming techniques as well as what to expect at meets and how they should approach their races.  As always our ultimate goal is for the kids to have fun and be excited to come back day after day.
